What makes Bikram Yoga different?
Bikram Yoga Beginners class is the Original Hot Yoga and differs from all other forms of yoga. Practiced in a room heated to 105 degrees with 40% humidity, we perform 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in each 90 minute class.
The mind craves distraction. Here we are eliminating distraction, quieting the mind and allowing it to move into a deep state of meditation as the body is healed simultaneously. Half of the class is done standing and half of the class on the floor. We systematically work everything that you own. The goal of each and every class is to push your perceived limitation and move to a state of remembering your inner truth, your inner strength both mentally and physically.
New students can expect to work hard and sweat. New practitioners are encouraged to only stay in the room for the entire class and do their personal best each class. That may mean taking breaks—without judgement. The practice is a process that begins on your very first day and continues for a lifetime. The practice is life-changing, and you will get what you need—each and every class.
